DTM Custom Applications LLC is petitioning for H-2A workers, as they meet the definition of Seasonal Need*. Our need is recurring in nature, tied to the agricultural production, fertilization, harvesting of corn, soybeans, wheat, cotton, & potatoes. This recurring need justifies our request for three (3) H2A workers as Agricultural Equipment Operators. Workers may perform other field operations tasks and duties under SOC Code 45-2091 Primary Duties include: 1. Workers will operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production in the field. Such duties include, but are not limited to: a. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. b. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. c. Operate or use equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. d. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. e. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. 2. Workers will operate agricultural equipment used in connection with harvesting vegetable crops in the field, including spraying fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus, and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. 3. Workers will load and unload crops or containers of materials; load agricultural products for shipment; drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities in the field; and haul crops or supplies from the field to farm locations as part of routine farm work. 4. Workers will only drive vehicles and equipment qualifying under the agricultural exemption; no CDL or English proficiency is required. 5. Ability and licensure (Class C license) to drive are required. 6. Other duties as assigned. Equipment used to perform job duties includes, but is not limited to, a tractor, chainsaw, and other handheld tools such as shovels, pitchforks, and manual spreaders. The employer provides all equipment and tools used to perform crop duties. Equipment to be used/Mechanical knowledge and experience a plus: • KBH Fertilizer Tender - semi and tandem mounted (varying years) • Doyle Fertilizer Tender - semi and tandem mounted (varying years) • Adams Fertilizer Tender - semi and tandem mounted (varying years • Propane fueled forklift (varying years} • 937H Fendt Airflow applicator (years ranging from 2024-current) • 1300C Rogator Airflow applicator (years ranging from 2018-current) • 1300C Rogator Spinner with NL 4500 bed applicator (years ranging from 2018-current), • 390 Vector Spinner applicator with NL720 bed (years ranging from 2022-current) • 430 Vector Spinner applicator with NL720 bed (years ranging from 2022-current) • 97-2 Kubota Skidsteer (years ranging from 2018-current) • TL12V2 Takeuchi Skidsteer (years ranging from 2020-current) • 938 Caterpillar Wheel Loader (years ranging from 2020-current)
