Job Description
Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Downers Grove, IL: Staff Software Development Engineer to design, deliver, and drive key technical activities for small and large software applications engineering projects across multiple technical environments. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality application design. Collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance, and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions. Involved throughout the entire development life cycle of software product and deliver efficient solution, identifying and mitigating any risks to the product before deployment to production. Deliver innovative software solutions which meet business needs and opportunities by integrating information, business process refinement, and technology. Identify opportunities to increase internal process efficiency by applying novel technology concepts to existing business processes. Serve as technical contributor in the design of new software applications or enhancements of existing software solutions. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, independently designing and coding system functionality, and developing cost-effective applications and program solutions. Work with the Safe Agile development team(s) for building software products, partnering with product team(s) to translate product strategy into high-performance code and in creating advanced capabilities. Participate in PI feature scoping (PI) and discovery and help translates user features into application Design. Independently lead development of solutions with high complexity and risk.
