Our operations span various industries, including telecommunications, computers, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team with the development, assembly, and testing of prototype products and production equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Assist Engineering with the development, assembly, and testing of prototype products and production equipment.
+ Perform machine refurbishment and testing to support manufacturing.
+ Safely handle chemicals using prescribed PPE.
+ Maintain accurate records and data of engineering studies, tests, and drawings.
+ Identify and document deviations in performance not anticipated in test procedures.
+ Assist in writing procedures and work instructions for machines and processes.
+ Develop process control plans, PFMEAs, and flow charts.
+ Train production employees on new machines and processes as needed.
+ Comply with quality systems procedures and documentation requirements.
+ Conduct tests on electrical or electro-mechanical parts for prototypes and competitor products.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s Degree in a technical field is a plus.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
+ High attention to detail.
+ Strong math and communication skills (written and verbal).
+ Valid driver’s license to travel between facilities.
+ Working knowledge of gauges, micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and various measuring devices.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
