Job Description
Superior Transmission, Inc. seeks a full-time Transmission Rebuilder for its worksite located at 219 N. Lake St., Aurora, IL 60506-4056.
The Transmission Rebuilder will diagnose transmission and valve body issues; disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble transmissions and valve bodies; and verify proper operation using standard diagnostic tools and test equipment. The position requires working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems relevant to transmission diagnosis and rebuilding, including CVT transmissions.
Minimum requirements: High school diploma or GED; 24 months of experience as an Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic, Transmission Rebuilder, or Transmission Technician; industry-recognized transmission rebuilding certification/credential, such as ATRA or ATSG certification/credential, or equivalent, obtained prior to hire; and proficiency with industry-standard transmission diagnostic tools and repair information systems, such as ShopKey Pro or equivalent.
