Job Description
The Customer Care Specialist cultivates relationships with customers, sales reps & managers. This is not a traditional customer service role - this is account OWNERSHIP & solving problems! Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am - 4:30pm with a 30 min lunch Duties: · Acct mgmt, maintenance & recordkeeping · Manage tax exemption status, file tax certs & delivery forms · Enter orders, manage/escalate concerns · Interact with customers/sales via email/phone · Support sales/business development initiatives · Comm/collect pymt for pre-pays · Provide order status, tracking, & help expedite deliveries · Research/document delays/issues · Communicate delays to customer · Resolve delivery issues · Manage customer complaints, replacements, warranties & returns · Issue credits, send order acknowledgements, compose letters to customers · Answer phone calls not answered by reception · Other duties as needed Required Skills: - Empathetic listener - Great communication skills - Problem solver Experience: · HS diploma or equivalent · 1 yr customer svc exp · Inside sales or mfg exp a plus Benefits:- Base of $21.50/hr & annual bonus up to 10%
