Senior Heavy Trailer Truck Driver
(Huntley, IL) - Full Time
Drive tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Drive nationally across the US. Driving Hours: Up to 11 hours per day. On-Duty (Not Driving): Up to 3 hours per day (includes loading/unloading, vehicle inspection, paperwork, etc.) Off-Duty (Rest): Minimum 10 consecutive hours off-duty before starting a new shift. Typically drive 5-6 days per week, depending on dispatch and delivery schedules. Travel across the United States with sometimes overnight stays required. $65,000.00 per year. High School or GED, plus 12 months of experience in job offered or as or as Long-Haul Truck Driver or related commercial truck driving position. Must have CDL- commercial driver's license or be able to obtain one within 90 days of hire with the support of the employer. Background check required to be conducted by commercially available third party background check company. Travel across the United States with sometimes overnight stays required.
