Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support to end users both remotely and at client locations. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple support requests.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
* Travel to client locations as required to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment and systems.
* Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, and peripheral issues.
* Support Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and common business software.
* Configure user accounts, email access, permissions, and security settings.
* Assist with network troubleshooting, including connectivity, Wi-Fi, and basic switching/routing issues.
* Perform workstation deployments, upgrades, and replacements.
* Document support activities, resolutions, and client interactions in the ticketing system.
* Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.

Required Qualifications

* Experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a related technical role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
* Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
* Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to client locations.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience supporting small and medium-sized business environments.
* Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration.
* Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
* Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.

Work Environment

* Combination of remote work and onsite support at client offices.
* Travel to client locations within the service area as needed.
* Occasional after-hours or emergency support may be required.
