Job Description
Research, analyze, and interpret U.S. federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, and public policies applicable to infrastructure, energy, and construction projects to support legal compliance and mitigate risk throughout all stages of project development, planning, and execution. Provide regulatory and compliance-related support to internal teams by delivering well-researched guidance on matters involving contracts, permitting, easements, zoning, and other areas requiring engagement with public authorities. Assist in the coordination and preparation of municipal, state, and federal permit applications, ensuring the timely collection and submission of all supporting documentation. Facilitate communication with project management team, clients and external parties to clarify regulatory procedures and compliance obligations related to active and upcoming projects. Collaborate in the development of internal processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting to relevant regulatory bodies. Provide compliance input to address on-site issues and assist in reconciling project implementation with regulatory and contractual obligations. Participate in client communications, attend project and status meetings, and contribute to the preparation of compliance updates and legal risk assessments.
Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Law or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in the position offered or a related legal research position.
