Job Description
Peer review project design and construction documents including plans, specifications, studies and details to understand project design and construction requirements, report findings,
discrepancies and analysis of intent. Utilize project work sequencing to achieve required schedules, and creation of schedule tracking methods and reporting to monitor progress of work
activities and tasks. Perform field coordination and scheduling of work activities with all contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders. Coordinate buy-out of equipment, specialties,
materials, and subcontracts as related to a specific project – obtain the best pricing and evaluate as compared to estimate. Prepare purchase orders for materials and equipment.
Coordinate and write proposal requests, evaluate, award, and prepare subcontracts. Prepare and manage submittals for shop drawings, product data, and subcontractor items. Coordinate
the release of materials/equipment upon approval. Manage shop drawing preparation (2-D/3-D) for systems layout and coordination drawings. Prepare and manage daily reporting on all
construction activities, work methods, field photos and schedule compliance for the project. Perform on-site inspections for quality of workmanship, quality of material, compliance to
contract documents, approved submittals, procedures, building codes, and prepare final documentation and tracking of items of compliance/non-compliance. Follow protocols for
measurement and verification of field material quantities, and preparation of engineering calculations for measured and verified material quantities. Maintain project quantity record books.
Maintain project documentation controls, including drawings, specifications, submittals, requests for information, meeting minutes, and change orders. Design review and prepare wellorganized estimates for changes to the contractual scope of work including auditing of supporting contractor and materials supplier cost proposals. Prepare and issue fully documented
change order requests and contract modifications. Prepare client and contractor interface and coordination documents including meeting minutes, client reports, project schedules and
project analyses as required. Collect, review and submit project close-out documentation to ensure it meets project documentation requirements. Prepare cost-coded breakdown of project
estimate for use by field and oice to track project progress and profitability. Prepare the schedule of values and monthly project billing for client approval.
