Job Description
Medical Laboratory Scientist II (multiple positions) sought by UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook in Bolingbrook, IL, to conduct laboratory procedures in designated areas. Analytical testing of blood and human biological specimens, requiring theoretical and practical knowledge and expertise. Complex diagnostic and analytic assessments of specimens, interpreting data with precision and accuracy. Facilitate selected aspects of laboratory processes, including workflow management, quality control, performance improvement activities, and maintenance of equipment. Assist lab leadership in meeting goals across various areas. Conduct laboratory procedures, performing diagnostic assessments and laboratory processes, and assisting lab leadership. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology. In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, medical technology, or functional equivalent is acceptable.
