Job Description

Medline Industries, LP seeks Sr Analyst Business Systems IT to join our team in Northbrook, IL.

 

Responsible for designing solutions to business challenges in their product and functional area. Demonstrate functional product knowledge within area of responsibility. Serve as an I/S point person for addressing issues and enhancements related to the specific product and functional area. Create business process designs (BPD) and business system designs (BSD) that meet the business needs, adhering to departmental documentation standards. Work closely with business users to determine business requirements and translates them to system requirements. Consider data sensitivity and process control to determine security and user authorization impacts. Deliver program requirements to developers and serve as the developer’s point of contact for clarification and follow-up throughout the development process. Responsible for making software configuration changes to support business processes. Responsible for the functional testing of the application (development and configuration) and the support of these applications when moved to production. Analyze production issues as necessary to determine the cause of the issue and determine the necessary course of action for resolution. Responsible for testing the solution and verifying that the production issue has indeed been resolved following implementation. Position reports to Medline headquarters at 2375 Waterview Dr., Northbrook, IL 60062 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting is permitted 100% of the time. No additional national or international travel is anticipated.

Education and experience requirements:

 

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology or related field or its foreign equivalent and 5 years of relevant work experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology or related field or its foreign equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience.

 

In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Utilizing SAP FICO functional expertise across FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, COPA, Product Costing), with experience in both ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA environments; (2) Working with cross module integration including MM, SD, PP, and external systems including Blackline, Vertex, Informatica, Paymetrics, Eskar, Concur, Hyland/OnBase, and OpenText VIM using tools including AEM, SAP IS, PI, WSO2 and Talend; (3) Performing solution design, including translating business requirements, performing fit gap analyses, writing functional specs, and producing configuration/process documentation.;(4) Leading testing cycles (unit, integration, regression, UAT) with strong understanding of compliance (GAAP/IFRS, audit); (5) Capable in production support, performing issue analysis, Level 2/3 support, and troubleshooting across FI/CO processes and integrations; (6) Project leadership, including full lifecycle implementations, enhancements, rollouts, and managing project plans and testing strategies; and (7) Using financial processes (period close, asset accounting, intercompany, product costing, revenue recognition) and supporting tools including BPC, LSMW/BO, EDI/IDoc, ServiceNow/JIRA, plus basic ABAP debugging.

 

Pay Range: $140,670.00 to $152,000.00 per year
