Job Description
BUSINESS AND MARKETING SPECIALIST (ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL)
Research trucking and freight forwarding market conditions to identify trends in shipping demand, customer demographics, and competitive pricing; analyze competitors’ pricing models, service offerings, and marketing strategies; develop and implement digital and traditional marketing campaigns targeting shippers, brokers, and commercial clients; manage company’s online presence on freight platforms, Google, Yelp, and social media; coordinate outreach to manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors to expand client base; collect and evaluate customer feedback to improve service delivery and client retention; collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to align marketing initiatives with fleet availability; prepare business development reports and provide recommendations to management to optimize freight rates, expand contracts, and increase profitability.
Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, or accounting analysis and audit, and 12 months of full-time experience in the job, or any managerial position required. $66,290 per year.
