Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Test Specialist
Location: Hoffman Estates, IL
Employment: Contract (12 month w/potential to convert Direct)
Industry: Manufacturing
Compensation: $ 55.00/hour
Schedule: 40hours /week.8:30am-5pm

Applying your Nuclear Medicine background to execute manual informal and formal Verification and Validation testing of complex nuclear medicine scanners and applications, while providing thorough and timely feedback to the development team on observations.

What You'll Do:
Identifying, submitting, tracking, and validating product defects using industry-standard tools.
Reporting on the quality, maturity, and progress of Nuclear Medicine products/documentation content to test leads.
Monitoring the status of planned tasks within assigned scope of work and ensuring commitments are on track, while resolving dynamic challenges and conflicts.
Analyzing system requirements and technical concept specifications to ensure adequate functionality coverage.
Analyzing customer feedback and supporting customer complaint investigations.
Interacting with internal stakeholders such as support representatives, developers, technical writers, product managers, project managers, and quality assurance colleagues.
Maintaining prototypes in the lab in a manner as they would be used in a clinical environment, including troubleshooting issues and providing resolutions.
Supporting software installation, configuration, and quality control calibration of systems.
Taking part in the knowledge exchange within our R&D team to improve and further develop our products and software solutions.
Highly hands-on role with SPECT / SPECT CT systems
Daily work in a laboratory or clinical-like environment
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Frequent collaboration with R&D teams, Software teams, Product teams
Focus areas include product features, testing, and defect resolution
Independently produce high-quality deliverables
Communicate effectively across teams

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
2+ years of experience in Quality Control on SPECT and SPECT/CT systems.

Clinical knowledge, specifically a nuclear medicine background
Trainable Skills
Test processes and disciplined testing methodologies
Develop strong technical depth and process proficiency
Strengthen expertise in products and internal processes
Proficient with performing SPECT and SPECT/CT acquisitions in a clinical environment.
Broad clinical application experience processing nuclear medicine scans.
Conversant in handling radioactive material on a regular basis.
Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of nuclear medicine and computer tomography clinical protocols.
