We are partnering with a highly regarded manufacturing company to staff an Office Assistant & Accounting Coordinator to support daily administrative and accounting operations. This position in Madison, IL plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll administration, managing inventory-related data, and ensuring smooth office operations. Office Assistant / Accounting Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices, vendor payments, and customer invoicing accurately and on time
- Support accounts receivable activities, collections, and customer account inquiries
- Assist with payroll administration, including timesheet review, data entry, and payroll record accuracy
- Enter and maintain inventory and job-costing data within company systems
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, receiving documents, and inventory records for accuracy
- Complete weekly scanning and document management tasks and maintain filing systems
- Answer phones and greet visitors professionally
- Manage mail and packages and order office supplies
