Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – IT Infrastructure

Skills – Genpact LLC seeks Principal Consultant – IT Infrastructure (multiple positions) in Danville, IL to serve as single point of contact for client to understand client requirements and translate them into measurable, actionable deliverables. Coordinate and participate in all phases of the information technology (IT) infrastructure project cycle, including planning, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and closure. Lead a large complex portfolio of IT infrastructure engagement with various business areas like Database, SharePoint, Security Firewall, server management, among others. Responsible for IT infrastructure operational strategies, solutions, and issue resolution or escalation as required. Develop project plans for IT infrastructure program, implementation management, resource planning, timelines, effort variances, monitoring the overall project progress, and communication with project team and senior leadership. Determine project governance and decision-making structure. Participate in meetings with the business team to understand their requirements for new implementations and change requests. Participate in the design, development, implementation, and support of new technology projects with various other technology teams. Amend and improve existing processes and procedures. Lead client RFP solutions and strategize value propositions to client needs. Employ industry tools and technologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; customized Genpact pricing tools; project management methodologies; Microsoft Project; Microsoft VISIO; and other Microsoft Suite tools.

Education – Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering (all), Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s experience in the job offered, a related IT infrastructure services position, or related occupation. Foreign degree equivalents are acceptable. Position headquartered in Danville, IL with placement at project sites nationally within the United States with no additional travel required. $94,723 to $99,459 per year.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $94,723 to $99,459. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
