Job Description

Senior Manufacturing Engineer:  Job Duties: Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods; utilize knowledge of project design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards; analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, equipment layout and workforce utilization; design equipment layouts and workspace; drive and promote continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity; handle development of new, innovative and lean production assembly processes, and perform cost estimations of assembly processes, plan and coordinate production processes in manufacturing and in accordance with business requirements; confer with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes and to ensure timely completion of projects; develop workflow and process manuals to maximize efficiency in new and established processes; ensure timely completion of projects, and provide engineering support for securing projects, creating statements of work and execution of project deliverables for large earthmoving equipment, aerospace, and off-road machinery.

Requirements: Master’s or equivalent in Engineering (any) or related and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a/an Design Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or in a related occupation. In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s or equivalent in the above-stated fields plus 5 years of progressive post-bachelor experience in the above-stated occupations.   Position is based out of 3008 W.
