Job Description

Holland LP, Sr Data Scientist, University Park, IL: Develop and deliver valuable insights to the Company through advanced data analytics techniques that help management make more effective decisions and define more effective strategies for its business operations; serve as a technical lead for data analytic projects and work with stakeholders throughout the Company and industry to identify opportunities to leverage industry data to drive business solutions; define data requirements and gather and validate information to address key problems, applying statistical modeling and tests; mine and analyze data from existing company databases and customer databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies, using state-of-the-art methods; develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets; use predictive modeling, deep learning, and artificial intelligence to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes; develop various testing frameworks and test model quality; analyze information about alternative courses of
action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes; coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes; develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy; and assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
