Description: Preparation Plant Mechanic
Skills: Current MSHA surface safety training, Welding/Cutting torch skills, Lifting & Carrying up to 50 pounds frequently, Walking, Bending, Pushing, Pulling, Squatting, Kneeling, Shoveling, Reaching, Working in cramped quarters, Working in high open areas, Climbing steps, Climbing ladders, Walking over open floor grating, Walking on graded walkways. Working with coal preparation equipment, Working in enclosed areas.
Duties: Repair all equipment at coal mining preparation plant, including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, Provide preventative maintenance, Repair and replace component parts on all preparation plant, beltline, and support equipment, Welding, cutting, and fabricating. Must have current State and Federal Electrical Card.
