Job Description
Position Summary
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role will collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and support new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Develop and implement process control strategies and standard operating procedures.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues.
- Support the launch of new products by designing and validating manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on process requirements and improvements.
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment, tools, and technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.
- Maintain documentation for process changes, validations, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in precision machining or high-volume production.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control.
- Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and project management abilities.
