Why Work Here?

You will join a safety-focused operation that values organization, cleanliness, and teamwork across all departments. The facilities are temperature-controlled and designed to support efficient, modern production processes. Employees benefit from a supportive culture where everyone wears multiple hats, learns different aspects of the operation, and contributes to both packaging and formulation work. The company offers strong employee benefits, emphasizes safe handling of non-harmful chemicals, and provides opportunities to gain broad manufacturing experience in both high-volume and customized production environments.

Work Environment

The role is based in modern, temperature-controlled manufacturing facilities with distinct production floor and warehouse areas. One facility features a recently remodeled, very clean and organized environment with a smaller workforce, fewer lines, and a more focused operation. The other facility is larger, with more lines, more production volume, and a busier, sometimes chaotic atmosphere, supported by security checkpoints and multiple break rooms. Both sites emphasize safety and organization, and the chemicals used are not harmful. Standard first shift at the Chicago Heights location runs approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with an expectation of about 50 hours per week. The typical schedule is four 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday, with mandatory Fridays and optional Saturdays when needed. Second shift at the Alsip location operates Monday through Friday from about 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Everyone is expected to be flexible, moving between packaging and formulation tasks as required and performing housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and salting the parking lot in snowy conditions. Steel toe boots are required as part of the dress code, and employees work around drums, totes, kettles, fillers, and blenders in a structured, safety-conscious environment.
