Job Description
Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Employment Specialist to work at our Belleville, Illinois location while servicing clients in the Metro East and St. Louis, MO vicinity. Chestnut Vocational Services follow the evidenced base IPS (Individual and Placement and Supper Services) model. IPS is based on the belief that anyone with a severe mental illness can maintain competitive employment in the community if the right type of job and work environment can be found. An Ideal candidate for this positon will have these qualities: • Hopeful about every person’s ability to succeed in an employment setting • Believes that work can help people manage their mental illnesses • Initiate and build relationships with employers • Maintains relationships with Chestnut Staff engaged in continued services
