Responsibilities: Engage clients in services prior to their treatment. Help individuals to overcome barriers to recovery by addressing obstacles and by monitoring, consulting, and encouraging during the recovery process. Provide stage-appropriate recovery education. Link clients to recovery communities and ancillary services. Develop natural supports and sobriety-based activities to support long-term recovery. Support interventions that are client-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, strengths-based, and evidence-based.

Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
