Job Description
Automotive Technician – Job Responsibilities-
Perform work as outlined on automotive repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle performance to verify customer concerns and confirm completed repairs.

Diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and drivability systems.

Utilize diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and manufacturer-specific software to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues.

Communicate clearly and professionally with Service Advisors to ensure customers are informed of repair needs, recommended services, and maintenance requirements.

Provide accurate estimates for labor time, parts, and additional repair needs.

Perform warranty, recall, and campaign repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and documentation requirements.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while properly using shop equipment and tools.

Stay current with manufacturer training, technical service bulletins, and industry advancements.

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely vehicle turnaround and high-quality workmanship.
