Job Description
Perform mobile echocardiographic, vascular, and other non-invasive cardiovascular ultrasound studies in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols. Prepare and
position patients for cardiac and vascular diagnostic examinations, explain testing procedures, and obtain information relevant to the study being performed.
Operate portable ultrasound equipment to obtain accurate images, measurements, and recordings of cardiac structure, function, circulation, and blood flow.
Review image quality and make technical adjustments as needed to ensure that completed studies are diagnostically useful for physician interpretation.
Document examination data, measurements, and technical observations in patient records and prepare study documentation for clinical review and follow-up.
Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare personnel in connection with mobile cardiovascular diagnostic services and patient care.
Maintain, clean, and transport portable ultrasound equipment and supplies in compliance with safety, infection-control, and quality-assurance standards.
Travel details: The employee will perform work at various locations within the greater Chicago metropolitan area
