A client of Insight Global seeking a Data Analytics/Reporting SME to support enterprise financial management and transportation modernization initiatives for USTRANSCOM. This position serves as the technical lead for data analytics, reporting, and data integration activities, providing actionable insights that improve financial transparency, logistics operations, and organizational decision-making.

The Data Analytics/Reporting SME leads the design and development of automated analytics solutions, supports enterprise data migration and governance initiatives, and collaborates with government personnel, functional users, and software development teams to ensure accurate, reliable, and meaningful reporting across complex business environments.

This role involves daily collaboration with government personnel, business stakeholders, ERP implementation teams, software engineers, and contractor teammates supporting mission-critical financial and transportation systems.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting.

Advanced experience with Alteryx, SQL, and Python.

Experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.

Experience supporting ERP implementations, system integrations, or data migration projects.

Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and enterprise reporting.

Experience working with large, complex datasets.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. DoD/Federal program experience.

USTRANSCOM or logistics background.

SAP experience.

Agile/SAFe experience.

Audit readiness or business intelligence experience.

Leadership experience.

SAP or Agile certifications.
