THE POSITION

 

Lead Staff Industrial Engineer, Continental Tire The Americas, LLC, Mount Vernon, IL:

Develop and execute plant Continental Business System (CBS) roadmap with Plant Management. Apply improvement and coaching routine to all CBS Practitioners. Lead multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams to drive improvement initiatives across the organization. Maintain plant strategy development method. Develop CBS Specialists, and train on all continuous improvement methods. Drive CBS culture change by influencing all managers to apply CBS in their areas. Report and communicate CBS status internally and externally to the plant. Actively participate in global CBS Coaches' network.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% per week.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $115,195.00 to $147,488.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) or a related field and 5 years of related work experience.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Acting as project leader for Lean Manufacturing Improvement projects with local and international teams;
  • Implementing Lean principles, methods, and framework; and
  • Coaching in areas of Leadership, Lean Manufacturing, and General Project Management.
