Job Description
Provide high quality tennis instruction and customer service to maintain customers and grow tennis program. Support the overall mission of Wheaton Sport Center and the Tennis Department. Maintain an upbeat and energetic on court teaching presence. Create lesson plans. Learn established developmental pathways for each program level and teach students within the appropriate pathway guidelines. Support program directors in implementing program guidelines. Use teaching appropriate for each developmental stage, age and size of participants. Communicate with appropriate program director regarding student progress. Complete and distribute evaluations. Build a consistent private lesson business. Instruct students on proper technique and strategies to improve their overall tennis game. Communicate with parents. Promote tennis program to meet participation goals and revenue growth. Develop private lesson business to support tennis department revenue goals. 6 months experience as tennis instructor or tennis professional. Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or business administration related field.
