Job Description
Set up and operate a variety of machine tools including CNC to cut wood for fabrication of kitchen, cabinets. Applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and matching procedures. Maintain programs, set up and run CNC machines. Checks and inspects fished parts for accuracy and to make sure that they meet drawing specifications. Read blue prints. Develop CNC programs based on cabinet drawings, 3D models, or CAD/CAM files from Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD or similar software. Set up, test, and adjust CNC machines (routers, drills, saws) for production runs. Review design files and ensure correct tool paths, feeds, and speeds for different materials. Load materials, monitor operations, and perform sample checks for accuracy and quality. perform routine maintenance of CNC machinery. 2 years experience.
