Job Description
BJIT Corp. seeks Software Engineer in Algonquin, IL, to design, develop & maintain software applications, APIs, cloud & blockchain solutions using Java programming, Cloud platforms, Docker containerization, CI/CD pipelines, SQL/NoSQL databases, Distributed systems, Blockchain technologies. Bachelor's/Associate's +2yrs exp for jr pos. Master's OR Bachelor's +5 yrs exp for Sr Pos. Major: in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Job Duties of Software Engineer are as follows:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and backend services using object-oriented programming languages and application frameworks.
- Develop and implement backend systems and RESTful APIs supporting monolithic and microservices-based architectures.
- Design and implement distributed software solutions, including applications integrating with blockchain or distributed ledger technologies.
- Develop integrations between enterprise software systems and decentralized platforms, including smart-contract based functionality.
- Deploy, manage, and maintain applications in cloud computing environments using industry-standard cloud platforms.
- Implement containerized application deployments using containerization technologies and related tools.
- Develop and maintain automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Perform system analysis, software design, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, product management, and operations to deliver software solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide engineering reports and updates to management.
