Job Description
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mechanic Grade I
- All the requires of a Mechanic Helper
- Read and understand blueprints and sketches.
- Weld a variety of sub-assemblies in the vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
- Will assist in the fitting of large steel components into a tank while suspended from various working platforms and scaffolding.
- Fit up and welding tasks of all tank parts and components.
- General housekeeping.
- Mechanic Grade II
- All of the requirements of a Mechanic Grade I
- No safety violations of fall protection procedures
- Mechanic Grade III
- All of the requirements of a Mechanic Grade II
- No safety violations of fall protection procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
