Job Description

• Monitor and enforce compliance with federal and third‑party food safety regulations, including USDA, FDA, and BRC requirements.

• Conduct internal compliance reviews and coordinate external audits to verify adherence to regulatory and facility standards.

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Track regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes to internal stakeholders.

• Create, review, and maintain regulatory documents such as product specifications, labeling information, and food safety protocols.

• Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and aligned with USDA, FDA, and BRC expectations.

• Support preparation of documentation required for certifications, inspections, and product approvals.

• Work closely with R&D to confirm new formulations and product concepts meet regulatory criteria.

• Review ingredient statements, nutrition panels, and product claims for compliance.

• Provide regulatory guidance during development stages to minimize compliance risks.

• Develop and deliver training sessions focused on regulatory compliance and food safety awareness.

• Promote a culture of regulatory responsibility throughout the organization.

• Identify opportunities to enhance compliance processes and collaborate with leadership to implement improvements.

• Assist quality and R&D teams in addressing regulatory‑related incidents, including potential recalls.

• Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Document incident responses and verify completion and effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures.
