We farm approximately 2,400 acres of row crops including corn, wheat, and soybeans. We also do our own haying operation. We use combines, tractors, semis, dump trucks, spreaders, sprayers, backhoes, and other various heavy equipment, tillage equipment, and haying equipment. We try to provide our own in-house maintenance on equipment when needed including hydraulics and machinist work. We spread our own fertilizer and spray our own chemicals. Employees will assist with row crop planting, spreading fertilizer, spraying chemicals, harvesting, and tillage for weed control. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. Trucking only occurs from fields to storage. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.
