Job Description

Provide woodworking services for construction and remodeling projects. Manufacturing and installing cabinets. Finishing new and rebuilding, refinishing, and repairing cabinets and other wooden parts of the kitchen such as: trims, ceilings, walls, panels, build-in furniture, using hand and power tools and machines. Removing old finish and restoring original wood color and texture. Install kitchen and wooden cabinets. Accurately measure and level. Install wooden doors hollow frame doors of all grades. Tearing out and replacing old frames and correcting issues from prior bad installations done by others. Great measurement abilities using levels ruleset and other measurement tools. Repair work needed to old installs. Inspect finish, according to plans and clients directions. Install custom made furniture. Install, assembly and setup of custom designed furniture in residential and commercial establishments. Read blueprints, drawings, or written specifications and consult with designers to determine sizes and shapes of patterns and required machine setups. Fit, fasten, and assemble wood parts together to form patterns, models, or sections, using glue, nails, dowels, bolts, screws, and other fasteners. Verify dimensions. Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces, and plane, shave, file, scrape, and sand models to attain specified shapes, using hand tools. Plan, lay out, and draw outlines of units, sectional patterns, or full-face mock ups of products. 24 months experience as a construction worker.
