Location : Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Rate : $16.00/hour

Schedule : M-F, 8am-5pm

Employment Type : Temp to Hire

Start Date : Immediate

What You’ll Do

+ Assist patients with selecting frames and lenses based on style, fit, and needs

+ Take accurate lens measurements (PD, segment height)

+ Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and frame materials

+ Adjust, fit, and repair eyewear as needed

+ Process orders and verify prescription accuracy

+ Maintain inventory and keep displays clean and organized

+ Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting daily clinic flow

What We’re Looking For

+ A current, up-to-date resume

+ Strong customer service and communication skills

+ Sales mindset with a patient-first approach

+ High attention to detail and accuracy

+ Willingness to learn optical terminology and processes

+ Previous retail, healthcare, or optical experience preferred

+ Ability to work a consistent schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

+ Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented

+ Ability to meet compliance requirements
