Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Statewide Sexual Behavior Problems Specialty Administrator. Under administrative direction, this position will plan, develop, and evaluate programs for child victims of sexual abuse and the juvenile offender population. As a licensed clinical social worker, provides clinical oversight and expertise regarding sexual behavior problems in children and youth served by the Department and serves as lead central office liaison for matters pertaining to residential resource development. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about children and interested in using his/her skills as a licensed clinical social worker to ensure appropriate services are provided to children and youth who are served by the Sexual Behavior Problems Program. Essential Functions

  • Serves as the Department’s Sexual Behavior Problems (SBP) Specialty Administrator.
  • Serves as lead central office liaison for matters pertaining to residential resource development.
  • Serves as full line supervisor.
  • Develops and prepares periodic status reports on all Unusual Incident Report activities related to children and youth with sexual behavior problems and child victims of sexual abuse target populations.
  • Serves as the Department's spokesperson on SBP related issues.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
