The IT Bookkeeper is responsible for processing IT financial documents per our clients finance and procurement policies and procedures as well as maintaining accurate financial records for IT Leadership. The Bookkeeper will be processing invoices for payment, including invoice approval tracking, posting goods receipts, submitting purchase requisitions, receiving purchase orders and coordinating with Accounts Payable to complete the payment process for received vendor invoices. The Bookkeeper will also help with tracking against active OPEX and CAPEX budgets across multiple IT Cost Centers.

Skills and Requirements

- Associates degree or 3 years required experience in Data Entry/Administration, Bookkeeping and/or Financial Administration which may include experience in the Armed Forces.

o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.

- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

- MS Office Suite with advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, formulas)

- Technically savvy – experience with SaaS and online software applications

- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills

- Attention to detail and meticulous record keeping abilities

- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

- Ability to work independently

- Self-motivated, go-getter attitude with a desire to learn new skills

- Excel – Smartsheet (Asana, Monday.com or comparable PMO software)

- SAP (or ERP equivalent)

- Experience handling Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders

- Experience processing Goods Receipts to pay Invoices

- Experience creating financial reports to be used by leadership

- History of delivering and/or supporting successful projects
