We need seasonal Field Harvest Operators/Truck Spotter who must be capable of safely safely operate field
harvest equipment & machinery in field harvesting functions, which includes transporting equipment from field
to field. Field equipment includes bean pickers and tractors with dump carts. Utilize harvesting procedures
that are provided during training to generate maximum crop recovery & quality of product that is being
harvested. Maintain good communication with full time field maintenance lead persons at all times to ensure
that equipment is running adequately & harvesting technique is correct. Communicate any hazards or issues
that arise with equipment immediately, to full time field maintenance lead persons. Assist with greasing the
equipment as necessary and checking over equipment functions to ensure that they are running properly.
Responsible for keeping mirrors and windows clean for adequate & safe visibility purposes. Report defects
with raw product to full time field maintenance lead persons. Must have a proactive attitude towards safety
and work safely at all times. Perform detail-orientated cleaning of all field harvest equipment & machinery
after Harvest is Complete. Clean equipment with high-pressure water and mild soap/detergent, in order to
prepare for storage and post-harvest preventative maintenance. Employer may also, at its sole discretion,
offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the
current published rate. A retention bonus per company policy will also be available.
