Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to support a leading global consumer brand's Retail Marketing team. This is a 40 hr/week role over the next four month. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Chicago, IL.
This role will support retail marketing initiatives across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, helping bring structure, organization, and accountability to a busy portfolio of product launches, in-store experiences, and merchandising programs.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized project manager with experience coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and driving projects from kickoff through execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage retail marketing, merchandising, display, and launch-related projects from intake through delivery.
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reports.
- Coordinate project kickoffs, creative reviews, stakeholder meetings, production handovers, and status updates.
- Capture and distribute meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups.
- Partner with Marketing, Design, Production, Sales, and Category teams to keep projects on track.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and timeline challenges, driving solutions and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage artwork routing and creative asset trafficking through SharePoint and other internal systems.
- Ensure projects transition smoothly from creative development through production and execution.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in marketing, creative, retail, merchandising, or production environments.
- Strong experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive accountability and keep teams aligned against deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools.
Nice to Have
- Retail marketing or visual merchandising experience.
- Experience supporting product launches.
- Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management platforms.
- Creative agency or in-house creative project management experience.
