Job Description

STRUCTURAL integrates technology-driven solutions with specialty contracting services to improve, protect, and enhance the existing infrastructure of owners directly, and in partnership with designers and contractors. STRUCTURAL offers a wide range of specialty repair and maintenance services and is the largest concrete repair contractor in the United States, with roughly 2,500 employees working from locations nationwide and in select international markets. STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group.

STRUCTURAL, is looking for a local Concrete Technician to join our Chicago, IL team performing work across the state.

Construction duties include:

Concrete repair

Concrete demolition

Concrete placement and finishing

Formwork / carpentry

Rebar replacement

Concrete Coating application

Fireproofing Installation

Structural Steel Welding

Equipment Grouting

Successful candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for this position:

2+ years of experience with a self-performing contractor, general contractor (GC), or specialty contractor. Preference will be given to those with concrete or concrete repair experience

Must have an active TWIC Card

Must being willing to wear a respirator

Able to pass written or computerized training

Must have reliable transportation and active drivers license to get to the site daily.

Must be willing to travel in and out of town

Hourly rate range: $20-27/hr, depending on experience.
