Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday - Friday (potential for 2nd shift availability)

Requirements
Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6-12 months related experience
Proficient in reading blueprints, engineering plans, and GD&T
Ability to operate multiple types of CNC machines and equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Basic math, geometry, and simple trigonometry skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to safety and quality standards
On the Job
Set up and operate VMCs, HMCs, TMCs, CO2 lasers, fiber lasers, break presses, and/or roboticwelders
Perform light program edits on mills, lathes, lasers, or robotic welders, including tool offsets, reference points, and conditionalswitches
Maintain quality by observing drilling, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasingoperations
Troubleshoot processes, detect malfunctions, and replace or sharpen worntools
Plan machining by interpreting work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and GD&T specifications
Verify machine settings and first-run parts using precision measuring tools like micrometers andcalipers
Document production and quality activities to maintain continuity across shifts
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficientoperation
Follow safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and uphold 5Sstandards
Participate in ongoing learning to stay updated on technical publications and new machiningtechniques
