Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery such as planters, air seeders, sprayers, and combines to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain, bean and corn crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate. Rock roll, tillage, rock pick, spread fertilizer, handle chemicals, and harrow. Tow harvesting equipment. Fill and transport water. ATV, UTV, and skid steer use. Weed control by chemicals. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids), pressure wash, and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Yard maintenance such as mowing, weed eating, fencing and clean up. Shop maintenance such as clean up, carpentry work on houses/garages and barns. Service, maintain and clean farming equipment.  Load/Unload grain bins and cover/uncover bunker silos. Any other tasks that may need to be completed on the farm. Schedule may vary depending on crop and field conditions. Work may include weekends, evenings, or overtime as necessary during peak periods. The employer will provide notice of schedule changes as far in advance as possible.
