Summary:

Delivery drivers take material to customer job sites and facilities as well as complete warehouse tasks. Each day will be different, depending on shipments and customer orders. Ideal candidates will be able to work well with a team and on their own. Time will be split between warehouse work as well as assisting with deliveries.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history. A CDL endorsement is not required.

+ Obtain & maintain eligibility for a DOT medical certificate

+ Ability to regularly lift at least 60 pounds

+ Ability to use a smartphone and computer with relevant applications

+ Regular and consistent attendance

+ Attention to detail

+ Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience delivery driving and moving material. Any sales or customer service experience is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions. Candidates will be expected to use a computer and smart phone as needed. Drivers will be expected to load and unload vehicles alone inside and outside.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Legally and safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards

+ Load all order fulfillment materials onto the truck for delivery and unload at delivery

+ Communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor

+ Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle

+ Deliver/pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner

+ Pick up material from vendors

+ Receive incoming freight

+ Keep a clean and organized warehouse

+ Stock material on shelves

+ Pick orders

+ Processing returns from customers and to vendors

+ Operate a Microsoft-based computer system

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $18 to $18 hourly.
