1. Feeding baby calves 2x / day and keeping the calf feeding equipment clean. Assisting in caring for and feeding the baby calves milk from April when the cows start calving through November when they are weaned from milk and moved to their winter housing.
2. Take care of / managing the gardens and flowerbeds on the farm in summer/fall.
3. Managing the sprinkler system when its dry. Reporting to us the progress of the plant conditions. This would include mowing lawn, string trimming and pulling weeds out around the barn and yard.
4. Managing irrigation and growing conditions of the elderberry patch.
5. Harvesting elderberries in September.
