Job Description
Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving quality systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role partners with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to resolve quality issues, support new product introductions, and enhance manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and regulatory compliance.
+ Develop and manage Quality Assurance (QA) plans for new product introductions using APQP and process optimization methodologies.
+ Lead root cause investigations and drive CAPA activities for nonconformances.
+ Analyze quality and production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
+ Support process validation, test method validation, and MSA activities.
+ Provide quality input during process design, development, and implementation phases.
+ Improve inspection methods, quality documentation, and training programs.
+ Manage supplier, customer, and internal quality issues, ensuring effective corrective actions.
+ Support supplier quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize manufacturing processes and promote quality excellence.
+ Maintain document control systems and provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
+ Mentor and support the development of quality assurance team members.

This is a Contract position based out of Park City, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 – $46.00/hr.
