Position OverviewThe Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (DBHR) is seeking to hire a Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Chester Mental Health Center. Plans, directs, administers and coordinates mental health services and manages the general, medical, psychiatric, administrative and fiscal functions. Directs, reviews and enforces standards of care and treatment for patients receiving services at the hospital. Directs staff on matters involving the development and management of Chester’s budget. Serves as official spokesperson for the hospital. Interprets department, state and federal policies, regulations and procedures to subordinates, outside official, professional and public groups. Essential Functions- Serves as the Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Chester Mental Health Center.
- Directs, reviews, and enforces standards of care and treatment for patients receiving services at the hospital.
- Directs Fiscal Management staff on matters involving the development and management of Chester’s budget.
- Serves as official spokesperson for the hospital.
- Serves as full-line supervisor.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonable within the scope of those enumerated above.
