+ Position: Physical Education (Gym) Teacher
+ Pay: $45.00 per hour
+ Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)
+ Campus: South Campus
+ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
+ Hours: 40 hours per week
+ Contract Length: 750 Hours
+ Start Date: August 17, 2026

+ Potential for Permanent Hire: Eligible for free conversion after 750 hours

Key Responsibilities
+ Deliver engaging physical education instruction for elementary through high school students
+ Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
+ Promote teamwork, physical fitness, and healthy habits
+ Implement lesson plans and instructional activities
+ Maintain effective classroom and behavior management
+ Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and support staff
+ Encourage student participation and personal growth
+ Ensure student safety during all activities
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher
+ Valid teaching license/certification as required by state and district regulations
+ Ability to implement instructional plans and manage classroom activities
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills
+ Ability to accept responsibility for student safety and well-being
+ Current CPR certification if required
+ TB screening, PPD, or chest x-ray if required
+ Current health certificate if required by state or district regulations
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
