Location: Skokie, In Office

Job Summary and Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the controller you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including:

+ Manage the AP function and all vendor payments

+ Prepare and record journal entries related to intercompany transactions, cash activity, accruals, month-end, and year-end adjustments

+ Prepare monthly bank and other account reconciliations

+ Prepare special projects as needed

+ Maintain Fixed Assets Records including acquisitions, dispositions, and asset verification audits

+ Support process improvement and Oracle NetSuite software automation

+ Manage & update the budget & quarterly reforecast model, sales pipeline, quarterly Board book data, month-end close reporting, income tax models & reporting, daily Treasury cash reporting, monthly borrowing base, and quarterly bank covenants

+ File all monthly, quarterly, and annual ‘other’ tax reporting, including sales & use taxes, healthcare taxes, personal property taxes, corporate activity tax, and personal property taxes

+ Assist Revenue Cycle Team with daily cash reconciliations, monthly (Part B insurance payors) contractual analyses, preparation of Accounts Receivable (Part A facility) aging for all 12 states

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ “Type A” self-motivated, creative out-of-the-box thinker that naturally pushes to constantly improve systems and processes

+ ADVANCED EXCEL SKILLS

+ Experience with databases/SQL queries and NetSuite saved searches is a STRONG PLUS

+ Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus

+ Attention to detail and effective organizational skills

+ Able to work independently as well as a member of our team

+ Exceptional oral and written communication skills

+ Multi-state/subsidiaries experience is a plus

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
