Floor Assembly Technician
Hoffman Estates, IL
$23.50/hour
1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Temp to Perm with 4-6 Month Conversion

Assemble, integrate, and test electrical and mechanical subsystems
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis using diagnostic equipment
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Operate hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and testing equipment
Document test results and communicate findings with team members
Identify and process non-conforming materials according to quality standards
Support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives

Job Requirements
Required
High School Diploma or GED
1 year of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience
Experience working with electronic or paper-based documentation
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Ability to work overtime as neededPreferred
Associate degree or technical training in Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Automotive Technology, or a related field
Experience in medical device manufacturing or regulated environments
Experience using torque tools (mechanical or digital)
Experience loading firmware or software onto complex systems
