Job Description
Inspect, test, and evaluate completed truck and trailer repairs using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and measuring devices to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and company standards; Inspect maintenance facilities, equipment, and work practices, and provide safety training to mechanics to ensure compliance with company safety policies; Interpret repair manuals, maintenance specifications, diagnostic reports, and work orders to assign tasks and guide repair activities; Monitor mechanics' productivity, review completed repairs, and evaluate work quality to ensure timely and accurate maintenance of the fleet; Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repair work on commercial trucks and trailers as needed while supervising maintenance operations.
