Job Description

Support planning, directing, coordinating the operations of an accounting company. Identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement. Maintaining the secure, complaint, and high-performance technology infrastructure that accountants rely on for daily tasks. Ensuring data integrity, managing specialized accounting software, providing 24/7technical support, and protecting sensitive financial data. Manage System Security & Compliance by implementing robust data security measures, including firewalls, encryption, multi-factor authentication, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Performing regular system updates, and monitoring networks to identify potential issues before they cause downtime. Regularly backing up financial data and ensuring swift recovery solutions in case of system failures or cyberattacks. Installing, updating, and maintaining accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and tax preparation software. Utilizing technology to automate routine tasks such as invoicing, data entry, and bank reconciliations. Customizing and deploying enterprise accounting software. Training staff on new technology and best practices for data security. Transitioning firms from traditional servers to cloud- based, remote-access systems. Implementing AI and machine learning tools for tasks such as expense tracking and predictive modeling. Maintaining secure digital document management systems to replace paper-based records. Database design, SQL programming, network security, and ERP systems. Analyze the firm’s accounting, audit, and tax workflow processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy using data driven and AI based solutions. Design, develop, and implement business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools to support financial analysis, forecasting, and client engagement for the firm’s accounting services. Work with partners and managers to translate business, regulatory, and client requirements into functional system specifications for accounting, billing, and practice management platforms. Configure, test, and optimize accounting and financial systems. Develop and maintain data models and data integration processes (ETL) to consolidate financial and operational data from multiple internal and third party systems. Use artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques (e.g., anomaly detection, pattern recognition, predictive models) to support tasks such as revenue forecasting, cash flow projections, and identification of unusual transactions for further review. Ensure data security, access controls, and system reliability for all business critical accounting and financial applications. Bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence or Managing Information Technology or related field (must be clearly related to business/IT) + 24 months of experience in an IT related position involving business systems analysis, data analytics, or implementation/support of financial or accounting systems.
